Open Days

Two days event of BASGP, separated in two parts – seminars and demonstration, targeting two groups of 50 person each. We contributed as a coordinator, together with other members of the BASGP association. Our job started with writing down the project, budgeting and building of a team for implementing the project. In the seminar part took place 8 lecturers – three guest lecturers from Great Britain, Greece and Poland, and 5 members of the BASGP association.

We worked with colleagues from Graphica MC, Bulged, Atia Print, and we did as follows:

MONDI seminar for 50 people

Collaboration for organizing one day seminar for distributors and clients of Mondi paper. Our job was to list data base of guests (digital printers, copy shops and partners of Mondi), sending invitations and cold calling the guests prior to the event.

For the purposes of the event we targeted groups of present and potential clients to Mondi. We did not use our websites to promote the event because it was with limited sits. We executed preliminary conversations with the lecturers and proposed relevant content for the Bulgarian market. On that base they made their presentations.

Workshop for digital printing with Konica Minolta and Antalis Bulgaria

The workshop was organized in two days for two separate target groups of 20 person each.
The aim of the event was to have a free dialog with offset printers and advertising agencies about the digital printing as a new business. Unlike the usual seminars that talk about equipment and consumables, this time we wanted to highlight the business opportunities of new digital printing technologies and their integration into the workflow of the companies that already have any kind of equipment, exclusively offset. It was important for us to hear the voice and attitudes on the market. At the event we placed printing equipment and different kinds of paper, but they were only for demonstrations if people were curious, and were not the accent of the workshop. The first day of the workshop was exclusively for print houses that have equipment, and the second day was for advertising agencies that have none equipment.

Our team took the following tasks:

Opening of new production site for Bulged and presentation of their new digital machine Xeikon

The organization was for 120 person and it included opening of the site, presentation of the equipment and raffle prize for the guests.

Moderating discussion considering new model digital equipment from Xerox Bulgaria

During Expo Print and Imaging 2007 our colleague Plamen Davidov was invited as an independent expert of digital printing, to moderate discussion about digital equipment. The discussion was arranged by Xerox Bulgaria and purpose audience was clients and partners of Xerox.

The concept of the event was to consider pros and cons of the digital printing in the presence of service engineers from Xerox Bulgaria, a client that uses such like machine and independent expert, who can analyze all the pros and cons of the printing with digital machines.
